Wondering what is the best way to light a smoker? Expert Beekeeper Kasper demonstrates how he lights a smoker in four easy steps. Watch the tutorial video below.

  1. Start by lighting the paper and placing it into the bottom of the smoker.
  2. Squeeze the bellows to make sure the paper is burning well, and then add a handful of smoker fuel.
  3. Continue squeezing the bellow and adding smoker fuel bit by bit.
  4. Once your smoker is full of fuel and you have thick cool smoke coming out, close the lid and the smoker is ready to use.
